Luton Borough Council granted planning permission to a scheme
prepared by Vincent & Gorbing for Aldwyck Housing Group that would
provide 51 new affordable homes on the north western edge of Luton.
The site fronts Kestrel Way and Pastures Way and forms the boundary
between the adjoining urban area and the open country of the
Bedfordshire. The accommodation comprises family houses with
generous loft spaces and six supported living apartments. The
buildingswill be finished in buff brick, white render, and zinc and
timber claddings. All homes will be built to CSH level 4 and Lifetime
Homes standards at a density of 33 dwellings per hectare and a new
public open space will be created centrally to the development.
