Hartham Swimming Pool Extension
Hertford, Hertfordshire

Our brief was to provide an attractive and
interesting facility with a spacious reception
area and refurbish existing facilities with
disabled access. The radial plan form creates
panoramic views and the principal structure
comprises exposed glulam beams supported
on finely detailed steelwork columns. A high
level roof light allows natural daylight to
illuminate the spaces and the exposed timber
structure. Former Olympic swimmer, Duncan
Goodhew, officially opened the facility.
