Groundbreaking ceremony of the new subsea cable manufacturing facility for JDR Cable Systems in Blyth, Northumberland

Our Director Andrew Rayner was delighted to attend the ground breaking ceremony for the new JDR Cable systems factory in Blythe, Northumberland earlier in the week. He was sad not to get a shovel but happy to see it underway!

The project is an exciting new development to aid the offshore wind-farm renewables industry. JDR cable systems manufacture undersea cables which are essential infrastructure for offshore wind-farms. This type of facility is needed now more than ever.
