Oakley House, Luton Update November 2021

Vincent+Gorbing is pleased to announce planning approval, subject to S106 agreement, for their scheme at Oakley House, Luton for Hightown Housing Association. The scheme was unanimously approved by the Committee on 27th. October 2021 who commented favourably on the design and agreed that the development would help to provide the much needed affordable housing for the town.
The scheme replaces a disused public house and the redundant administrative offices of Whitbread Brewery, with 26 family houses and 39 apartments designed to achieve Nationally Described Space Standards and new landscaping and parking. Following the appointment of a contractor, construction is expected to begin in 2022.
