Safestore is the UK’s largest self-storage operator with 128 stores in the UK as well as 33 stores in Paris and Barcelona.
With significant growth in the self-storage market over the last few years, Vincent and Gorbing has been advising Safestore on potential sites for future expansion of their portfolio. We have carried out numerous planning appraisals on potential acquisitions and have submitted planning applications on new and existing sites dealing with a wide variety of planning issues.
We work closely with the client, their architects and a team of technical consultants to prepare robust planning application submissions, securing consents that maximise the lettable area whilst respecting local context and amenity.
We have recently advised on sites at locations throughout the UK including Birmingham, Leeds, Shoreham, Sheffield, Gateshead and Southend as well as a large number of sites within the M25.
