The University of Hertfordshire required one of their original, existing lecture theatres converted into a more flexible and adaptable teaching space.

We worked with the Estates team at the UoH to ensure the existing theatre was adapted appropriately to suit current teaching methods. The 1950s fabric was repaired and upgraded, finished in a dark, rich blue. New lighting was introduced, based upon the idea of an electrical circuit board bringing further visual interest to the space.

This retro-fit project completes our long-standing involvement with the Prince Edward Hall and complements the work undertaken by the practice completed in 2015.
